Ana crosses Kurdistan in secret to see her daughter Marya again, whom she hasn’t seen for four years. Like many Yazidi women, a religious minority in Iraq, Ana was abducted by ISIS in 2014. She survived and returned to her community, but in order to be accepted, she was forced to give up her child born of the jihadists’ rapes.
