Synopsis

According to the tradition, Petite Neige, a young inuit, needs to capture a low flying bird in order to pass into the world of grown-ups. On the verge of catching the bird, she falls into a mysterious fjord belonging to the giant dwarf, an ogre who has the power to change his size at will by sneezing.
An initiatory tale for grown ups and little ones.

Sur la banquise toute blanche, une silhouette se détache. C’est Silla, une fillette inuit de 10 ans. Comme sa mère et sa grand-mère l’avaient fait avant elle pour devenir jeune fille, elle doit montrer qu’elle est habile et forte en rapportant une perdrix, qu’elle aura réussie à capturer toute seule comme une grande. Mais au moment où la fillette attrape la perdrix, elle bascule à l’intérieur des glaces et se trouve dans un monde aussi extraordinaire qu’inquiétant, celui de l’ogre Nain géant…
